Two flights arriving at Boise Airport canceled as storms move in

Two flights coming into the Boise Airport were canceled on Monday as winter storms moved into the northwest.

Both flights were with Alaska Airlines. The first was scheduled to arrive from Portland at 9:15 a.m.

The second flight was scheduled to arrive in Boise from Dallas at 11:17 a.m. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for Dallas until 9 a.m. on Monday.

A storm dropped snow and ice on Texas sending temperatures into the single digits, prompting a power emergency in the state. Flights have been canceled throughout Texas.
