How to Beat Brol Boss in Diablo 4
Fortunately, the move-set of Tyrant King Brol is not overly complex. While he primarily relies on melee strikes, he does possess a few additional attacks that can be devastating if you are under-geared or under-leveled.
Brol, being extremely dangerous at close range, can be easily dealt with by ranged characters, but as a Barbarian or a shapeshifting Druid, you may want to consider getting some assistance from a companion. They can help draw his aggro away from you, as battling him alone may prove challenging, though it's not impossible if you know how the boss operates, which we'll be discussing below.
Aside from his standard attacks, Tyrant King Brol has a couple of noteworthy abilities. His AoE (Area of Effect) Ground Slam inflicts damage in a wide radius around him, but it is relatively easy to evade by moving out of melee range.
He also employs a charging Dash Attack, where he lunges toward you. Being struck by this attack can result in significant damage, so it is crucial to move out of the path of Tyrant King Brol when he initiates this maneuver. Stunning or staggering the boss during this attack doesn't appear to be possible, so the best strategy is to simply avoid it.
If you block Brol's path, he will repeatedly slash at you until you move. While the damage from these slashes accumulates rapidly, Tyrant King Brol can't really stun-lock you during this assault, making it relatively simple to maneuver out of his way.
Additionally, this boss employs a combo attack sequence, involving stomps with one weapon, then the other, and finally both simultaneously. By maintaining a safe distance from him, you can easily avoid taking damage from this combo.
Every time you deplete 25% of his health, Brol will drop two potions for you, but he will also summon a swarm of Maniacs and Cannibal enemies to assail you. It is advisable to dispatch these minions before resuming the fight.
Overall, this boss battle is relatively straightforward. However, it is important to avoid becoming overconfident. Tyrant King Brol can inflict substantial damage if given the opportunity, so it is crucial to stay out of his reach whenever possible and unleash attacks when opportunities arise, while also strategically retreating when necessary.
In essence, your goal is to land as many hit on Brol as possible while he pursues you. Take advantage of his occasional mishaps during AOE attacks, as he is typically vulnerable and unable to retaliate for a brief period. and continue to build on these opportunities to freely unleash your attacks until he is ultimately defeated.
What Loot does Brol Boss Drop in Diablo 4?
